Fees Harvested

Accrued fees are harvested as part of the close flow

NFT Burn Option

The position NFT can be burned when closing, depending on the selected option

Position Removed

A fully closed and burned position no longer appears as an active position in your portfolio

Keep vs burn the NFT

When closing, you may be able to choose whether to keep or burn the position NFT.

Burn NFT

Burning the NFT closes the position NFT after liquidity is withdrawn and accrued fees are harvested.Select this only if you do not intend to reuse the same position NFT.

Keep NFT

Keeping the NFT preserves the position NFT in your wallet after liquidity is withdrawn. This may let you deposit back into the same position parameters later.
The position NFT represents ownership of the position. Do not burn, sell, or transfer it unless you intend to close, transfer, or permanently give up access to the position it represents.
Keeping the NFT may allow you to add liquidity back to the same price range later without creating a new position.

Alternative: close via the Withdraw tab

You can also fully close a position from the Withdraw tab in the Position Details sidebar:
  1. Open the Position Details sidebar.
  2. Go to the Withdraw tab.
  3. Use the slider, click Max, or set the amount to 100%.
  4. Tick the Harvest and burn the NFT of this position checkbox to fully close the position. Without this checked, you withdraw available liquidity, but the position NFT stays in your wallet.
  5. Click the action button at the bottom and approve the transaction in your wallet.
With the checkbox ticked, this path withdraws available liquidity, harvests accrued fees, and burns the position NFT when the transaction completes.

Important reminders

  • Closing a position may involve slippage, transaction fees, priority fees, and changing pool conditions.
