How do I earn Points?

You can earn Points by buying and selling eligible Wavebreak tokens that have not yet graduated. This includes eligible initial buys made when launching a token. Points apply to a single rewards period of 24 hours. After the rewards period ends, your Points balance resets to 0.

What do Points do?

Points are used to calculate your pro rata share of Daily Rewards for the rewards period in which they were earned. Daily Rewards may include a portion of tokens that graduate during that rewards period. Your share is based on your respective pro rata share of the total Points issued during the period. You can view and claim allocated Rewards in the Claim Rewards section.

What is Bonding and Graduation?

Every Wavebreak token starts in the Bonding stage. During Bonding, users can buy or sell tokens through the bonding curve and may earn Points from eligible trading activity. Graduation occurs when the bonding curve reaches the Graduation threshold. After Graduation, liquidity is seeded into an Orca Whirlpool, making the token available for trading on Orca. The token may also be available through aggregators that support Whirlpools.

Where and how do I claim my Rewards?

Click the Rewards button in the main navigation. There, you’ll see:
  • Your current Points
  • A countdown to the next reset
  • Your available Rewards
You can claim allocated Rewards from this section. You can choose up to 6 different tokens to claim in a single transaction. Rewards are currently claimable without an expiry date.

Why are there tokens I haven’t traded in my Rewards?

Daily Rewards may include tokens that graduated during a rewards period in which you earned Points, even if you did not trade those specific tokens. Your allocated Rewards are based on your pro rata share of total Points for that rewards period.

How long can I claim Rewards from my Points?

Your Points reset every 24 hours. Allocated Rewards are currently claimable without an expiry date.

Do I have to do anything to convert my Points into Rewards?

No action is required to allocate Rewards at the end of the rewards period. Rewards are calculated based on your pro rata share of total Points issued during that period. Once allocated, available Rewards can be viewed and claimed from the Claim Rewards section.

Are there costs to claiming Rewards?

Yes. Claiming Rewards requires a Solana transaction, so normal network fees apply. Claiming may also require the creation of associated token accounts, or ATAs, for tokens you have not held before. Creating an ATA may require rent. On Solana, rent for an empty ATA may be recoverable later by closing that account.
