Automated Migration Tool Guide

To make the liquidity migration process as smooth as possible Orca has developed a simple automated tool for migrating liquidity from legacy pools to a matching CLAMM pool (formerly known as Whirlpools). This tool is not available for all legacy pools, and it is important to understand its limitations.
  • The tool creates a full-range position (0 - ∞) which mimics a legacy pool position. Your position will earn lower yields than it would in a concentrated position, but it will not need to be rebalanced.
  • Where ticks are not initialised across the full range for your selected fee tier additional network fees will be required - pay attention to displayed warnings.
  • Prices in the destination CLAMM pool may not match those in the origin legacy pool - pay attention to displayed warnings.
  • A CLAMM pool may not exist for the pair, or for a given fee tier, in which case migration will need to be completed using other options, such as manual withdraw and deposit (see Withdrawing Liquidity).
